Fun game

Shanghai rules.

Shanghai is a fast, tense darts game: each round is played on just one number, and a magic combination can win you the game instantly, whatever the score.

🔢

The basics

You play numbered rounds, usually from 1 to 7. In round N, only hits on number N count: single = N points, double = 2 × N, treble = 3 × N. Anything else on the board scores nothing that round.

The "Shanghai" shot

Hit a single + a double + a treble of the round's number with your 3 darts in the same round = a Shanghai: an instant win, no matter the other players' scores. It's the holy grail of the game.

🏆

How to win

Without a Shanghai, you add up your points round after round. After the final round, the highest total score wins. Simple to understand, tough to master.
